Remembering the Masters: Vilmos Zsigmond

He may have passed away on January 1st, but Vilmos Zsigmond’s art and generosity will be remembered long after he is gone. Especially here, at Camerimage, of which Vilmos (photo by: was a true friend for all those years.

Join us in Bydgoszcz for a tribute to the great cinematographer and watch three of his films on a big screen (Robert Altman’s McCabe & Mrs. Miller, John Boorman’s Deliverance, and Michael Cimino’s The Deer Hunter; as well as a documentary Close Encounters with Vilmos Zsigmond; go HERE for the full Camerimage 2016 schedule).

If you cannot come to Camerimage this year, you may reminisce Vilmos Zsigmond’s work on your own as well, or watch these few videos.
